Hummingbirds and absinthe spoons craft culinary identity

Corporate identity for a restaurant where hummingbirds and absinthe spoons adorn the menu. In the shadow of the Utrecht dom tower, you will find a hidden treasure room full of explosions of taste. Restaurant Florent prepares idiosyncrasies with a classic French character, high on taste, and a little stubborn.

Illustrations with a story

When you get carte blanche for designing an identity, you look for boundaries. In addition to a new logo, we came up with three theme stories about forgotten vegetables, lily as a symbol of the Italian city of Florence, and artistic freedom. For the execution, we worked together with illustrator Dit Cheyenne to create a visual style that is tasteful and stimulating.

Identity to be framed

Menu and drink cards matched in interior colors, unique tactile papers (paraffin wax-free), embroidered chef's coats, and plates with illustrations. The house style as a whole breathes a high-quality and indefinable feeling. The drawing with the hummingbird and absinthe spoons is printed in a special limited edition as an art poster.
